Hi, My name's Lucy and I'm asking for your support.
As you probably know, a By-Election has been triggered in Panshanger following the resignation of Conservative Councillor Martyn Levitt.
This means that on May 4th, residents in Panshanger have the chance to send a strong, clear message to the Tory run council that what they're doing is wrong and that we won't stand for it any more.
We've had enough of their unfair policies and out-for-themselves attitude. I'll continue the work of my Labour colleagues and make sure we hold this Council to account - it's time that Panshanger has at least one Councillor on your side, looking out for your best interests.
I'm going to be out and about over the course of the month speaking to as many of you as I can. Now, I won't get to meet you all and I hope you get the chance to read through my leaflet that'll be dropping through your door over the coming weeks.
I'm outlining my 6 key pledges below, so that you know what I stand for. It goes without saying that I'm completely against the arrogance of the Conservative cabinet and leader's pay-rise, I'm against the implementation of the Bin Tax and I'm against and honestly, angry about how we've been treated by your supposed representatives over the local plan. Councillors Johnston, Bennett, Chapman and the other Conservative's on the Cabinet Housing and Planning Panel have a lot to answer for.
So i'm asking you, if you live in Panshanger to please vote for me on May 4 - together we can show the Conservatives that they've taken you for granted for too long.
Thanks for your time,
