So you’ve just joined the Labour Party? Welcome! You’ve joined a movement of hundreds of thousands of people committed to fighting for a better, fairer Britain. You might be feeling a bit overwhelmed or unsure where to go next. Our new member video will help introduce you to the party and get an idea of some of the exciting opportunities available to you as our newest member.

Get in touch
You should’ve had an email already welcoming you to the party, and if you haven’t we’re sure it’s on its way. But if you can’t wait, feel free to contact the named person on your membership card, and if that hasn’t arrived in the post yet get in touch by filling in this form and we’ll make sure someone gets back in touch.

Come along to our next meeting
We meet regularly to discuss local and national issues. We have an all member meeting on the first Tuesday of the month. But you can always check the events tool to make sure you’re not missing out. And, if you want to get involved more, we have a variety of smaller groups (such as our campaign team or women’s forum) that meet regularly too.

Check our latest events
There’s always something to do, whether it’s getting involved in a campaign, attending a members meeting or getting active in a sub-committee. We also try to hold regular fund-raisers and social events too. Keep an eye on your emails for updates and the events tool to see what’s coming up.

Get involved with a campaign
Exciting right! If it’s your first time campaigning we’ll pair you up with a seasoned campaigner and teach you the tricks of the trade. Whether it’s posting leaflets through doors, manning a street stall, door knocking or crucially getting out the vote on polling day, there’s something for everyone to get involved in.
