Universal Credit continues to fail residents in Welwyn Hatfield, leaving them out of pocket and struggling to feed their families.

Labour Councillors have repeated calls to pause the roll-out of Universal Credit across Welwyn Hatfield until the serious flaws in the system can be fixed. Conservative Councillors ignored the facts and refused to act.

Universal Credit doesn’t make work pay, it’s not saving the Country lots of money and just like the Conservative Government, its doing real damage to the people of this Country.
