Four years ago, I was elected to Welwyn Hatfield Council to represent my childhood ward. I worked hard not just to be elected butas a councillor too.
As someone who grew up in Welwyn Garden City and living in all sorts of properties and conditions, I know what it means to have a suitable home, currently I am living in a flat with my partner and our gorgeous Labrador Blossom. Whilst this space is adequate for us,it isn’t what I would wish for children and families or those with disabilities.
Charity, community, and music are all important to me and if I am not walking Blossom in one of the many green spaces we enjoy across Welwyn Garden City, I am enjoying a gig or helping The Children’s Society charity.
Then there is supporting women, having been harassed on the street I want to lend my voice and support for all women in the community that face struggles.
